Warren’s love to paint is rooted in a creative edge he developed as a jewelry designer
while owning a series of retail establishments in New York. Employing ‘the lost wax’ method Warren was able to hone his creativity with the construction of one-of-a-kind pieces cast from a solid block of wax in gold or silver and enhanced with precious stones. Warren later had pieces of jewelry and accessories sold at such prestigious stores as Barneys, Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor, to name but a few.
The creativity of jewelry design later transcended into the medium of painting. Warren has explored many styles of painting and has had success showing at multiple galleries throughout NY for over a decade before moving to Boca Raton, Florida.
Today, Warren’s work has come full circle, employing the elements of his jewelry design in his current work. As a stunning piece of jewelry enhances
without overwhelming, Warren’s painting style utilizes pallets of rich color and is enhanced with elements of mixed media.
His inclusion of pattern work with plaster provides a subtle depth and beauty that enriches any space.
