- Initial Consultations to discuss your taste, budget, and buying or selling aims are offered without commitment and obligation, and also without any charges other than travel expenses (if applicable). We will do our best to meet you personally, but of necessity some consultations need to be by e-mail or telephone.
- Commissions are only charged on actual purchases and sales - if we do not buy or sell a painting for a client we do not charge. Commissions are calculated on a sliding scale.
- Our commission includes all our time, expertise and administration related to one purchase or sale. We charge out specific expenses such as re-framing and transport at cost.
- If a purchase is not made through us, we charge reasonable costs for art market and condition reports, to be agreed in advance. After a client has purchased paintings to the value of $100,000, these services are subsequently free whether or not a purchase is made.
- We pass on to our clients the best-negotiated prices and we do not take commissions from the other side.
